BULLS MEDAL PRESENTATION NIGHT

The Bonogin Valley Bulls Cricket Club celebrated a successful 2023/24 season with a carnival style presentation night at Frank Chaston Oval in Gilston.

The theming and stage were gratefully provided by Good Times Event Co and the space looked amazing.

Ocean Road Magazine were joined by over 100 people in attendance and we were treated to a modern Japanese feast from Food Truck Yummy Nani and live music from Riley Hansen.

Fire pits roared whilst laid back country tunes bellowed over the beer garden filled with players and supporters young and old.

The awards covered the clubs under 14s, 17s, Senior Grades and the Premiership winning over 40s side.

Clubperson of the Year was won by Nicole Amatto for her hard work running events throughout the season including working tirelessly on the bar for this event.

The Spirit of the Bull Award was won by John Cassidy, Brodie Cook and Xander Bailey for their respective efforts throughout season 23/24.

Local Division 9 Councillor Glenn Tozer was in attendance and spoke about the future plans for Frank Chaston Oval and Clubhouse and was presented with a framed shirt by Club President Jarrod Eltis

The local Lions club of Mudgeeraba were also on hand to present the club with a cheque for $1000 to assist with the upcoming season.

The Clubs major sponsors Crasto Properties were also in attendance and received a framed shirt for their 6 seasons of involvement with the Club.

Kevin, Chris and Vince have been instrumental in the success of the club since its inception in 2017 and they were warmly received by the large crowd in attendance.

The trophies and medals were well received by all the winners and Mathilda and Audrey from local Trophy supplier and club sponsors Trophy Innovations and Engraving were also on hand to celebrate the night.

The major award for the night was the Bonogin Valley Medal which was won by Jake Savage.

The club wishes to thank Crasto Properties, Tallai Golf Club, Ocean Road Magazine, Trophy Innovations and Engraving, House 2 Home Styling, Good Times Event Co, Stryder Brewery, Burleigh Brewing, Mr Bake, Cr Glenn Tozer, Rod Bates MP, The Lions Club of Mudgeeraba and the 500 Club for their support over the Season.
